New Jersey High School Football - Wayne Valley tops Hackensack
September 26, 2025: Wayne, NJ 07470 The Wayne Valley Indians football squad scored 33 points and limited the visiting Hackensack Comets to 13 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.
The Indians now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Wayne Hills for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Wayne Valley will play a Patriots team coming off a 35-0 league win over Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ). The Patriots record now stands at 5-0.
The Comets (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ridgewood (Ridgewood, NJ). The Maroons go into the Super - Liberty Red challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Ridgewood lost by Passaic County Tech (Wayne, NJ), 28-14, in a non-league test.
