For the second consecutive year, Florida finished with the most players selected in the NFL draft with 30. It was the fifth time over the last seven drafts. Terrion Arnold, JC Latham, J.J. McCarthy, Quinyon Mitchell, Michael Penix Jr. and Dallas Turner were some of the notable selections from the Sunshine State in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Latham, McCarthy and Xavier Thomas were all selected from
IMG Academy (Bradenton, Fla.). The Ascenders have now had 21 picks since 2018.
Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas) was the only other school that had three players selected. Rome Odunze was a first round selection while Jaden Hicks and Edefuan Ulofoshio were drafted on Saturday.
Texas had the second most selections with 24. Jonathon Brooks, Tyler Guyton, Byron Murphy II, Patrick Paul, Ja'Lynn Polk, Ennis Rakestraw, Ja'Tavion Sanders and T'Vondre Sweat headline the picks from the Lone Star State.
Georgia checks in with the third most picks at 23. Javon Baker, Cole Bishop, Javon Bullard, Ladd McConkey, Amarius Mims, Trevin Wallace and Nate Wiggins were some of the notable selections from the Peach State.
California finished the draft with 18 selections, which was the fourth most. Brock Bowers, Caleb Bullock, Jermaine Burton, Jayden Daniels, Troy Franklin, Laiatu Latu, Jalen McMillan, Johnny Wilson and Xavier Worthy were among the players selected from the Golden State.

In total, 39 states along with Washington, D.C. had at least one pick. Alaska, Arkansas, Maine, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wyoming were the only states that did not have a selection.
