The Islanders (14-2) defeated the Buccaneers by a score of 48-33 for their fourth win in a row. Selena led all scorers with 20, Gabby had 12 and Charlie scored 9. Sienna had a basket and led the defense grabbing 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.

CHS Islanders (18-3) defeated the HTHNC Raptors (13-7), 38-17, to advance to the semifinals. Selena led all scoring w/ 19. Gabby had 7, Emily, 6, and Alina, Charlie and Lily each had 2.  Stingy team defense led to a combined 12 steals and 11 blocks.

Coronado Islanders (16-3) bounced back with a 34-14 win over the Clairemont Chieftains (2-23). Gabby contributed 12 points, Selena had 11, and Alina scored 8. Emily anchored the team's solid defensive effort with 3 rebounds, 3 blocks and 3 steals.

The Islanders (15-2) were triumphant over the Rattlers of Canyon Hills (16-10) by a score of 49-26. Gabby led all scorers with 18 pts, Selena had 17 and Emily had 8. Lily and Sienna grabbed 5 rebs each.  Emily and Sienna blocked 3 shots each as well.

Coronado Islanders (13-2) defeated the Kearny Komets (12-12)  for the second time this season. Gabby led all scorers with 20, Selena scored 18. Charlie and Lily each had 8 boards, and a solid defensive effort by Emily with 5 rebs, 4 blks and 3 stls.

The Coronado Islanders (11-2) bounced back with a total team effort to defeat the Clairemont Chieftains (2-17) with a score of 28-12. Selena led all scorers with 11 points. Olivia grabbed 5 boards and scored 8. Gabby had 9 assists and 3 steals.

Coronado (10-2) suffered their second loss of the season to Canyon Hills (11-8). Gabby led the team in scoring with 16 points and Emily led in rebounds grabbing 5 boards.

CHS (10-1) won their second game in a row, this time over the Buccaneers of Mission Bay (3-9). Gabby led all Islanders with 9 points, followed by Alina with 7, and both Selena and Emily scoring 6. On defense, Emily blocked 4 shots and Sienna had 3.

Highlights from Coronado's 34-20 defeat of Mission Bay

The Islanders bounced back with a tough 38-32 win over the Komets. Five players scored, led by Gabby with 22.  Selena contributed 7 points and grabbed 6 boards. Olivia scored 5, and Lily and Alina each made a basket.

Islanders overmatched by the Hornets, 79-16, to end their 8-game win streak. Gabby led Coronado with 14 points, to include making 8 of 9 from the charity stripe.

The Islanders (8-0) continued their winning streak at home using stingy team defense to defeat the Madison Warhawks, 43-15. The team totaled 13 blocked shots and grabbed 11 steals, limiting the Warhawks to 1 point in the 1st qtr. and 2 in the 3rd.

Coronado (7-0) remains unbeaten by defeating Hilltop (10-2). Emily led the team in scoring and rebounds, with 14 points and 8 boards. Gabby and Selena scored 13 and 12, while Charlie and Akenna grabbed 7 and 6 rebounds each.

Highlights of the Islanders defeat of the Lancers 45-40

Gabby had a team-high 21 points in the Islanders victory over Sweetwater, but the team's defensive efforts have led to the 6-game winning streak for CHS. She had 4 steals in the win and averages 3.2 steals a game over that span.
