January 2, 2024: Woodland Hills, CA 91364 The Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL) basketball nipped the host Louisville Royals (Woodland Hills, CA), 61-57 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Poly (Sun Valley, CA). The Parrots go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Poly got by Highland (Palmdale, CA), 55-44, in a non-league test.
The Royals now own a 12-3 record. They play next when they host Flintridge Sacred Heart for a Sunshine test on Thursday, January 4. Louisville will encounter a Tologs squad coming off a 76-19 non-league loss to White County (Sparta, TN). The Tologs record now stands at 9-7.
