Ohio High School Basketball - Huntington thwarts River Valley
January 3, 2023: Bidwell, OH 45614 The Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) basketball knocked off the host River Valley Raiders (Bidwell, OH), 68-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Huntsmen (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Piketon (Piketon, OH). The Redstreaks go into the Scioto Valley test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Piketon went down by Peebles (Peebles, OH), 69-42, in a non-league test.
The Raiders now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Wellston for a Tri-Valley I test on Friday, January 6. River Valley will encounter a Golden Rockets squad coming off a 59-56 non-league loss to Symmes Valley (Willow Wood, OH). The Golden Rockets record now stands at 3-6.
