California High School Basketball - King/Drew can't hold off Lynwood

The Lynwood Knights basketball team scored 48 points and held the host King/Drew Golden Eagles to 45 in the Knights non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Knights now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mayfair for a San Gabriel Valley contest on Wednesday, January 4. Lynwood will battle a Monsoons team coming off a 51-26 non-league loss to Valencia (Placentia, CA). The Monsoons record now stands at 2-4.

The Golden Eagles (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against George Washington Prep (Los Angeles, CA). The Generals enter the Coliseum contest with a 7-6 record.
