The Ardrey Kell Knights (Charlotte, NC) basketball edged the host Berry Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 64-62 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they host Myers Park for a 4A South Meck bout on Tuesday, January 7. Ardrey Kell will play a Mustangs team coming off a 74-64 non-league loss to Blue Ridge (St. George, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Berry falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Ballantyne Ridge (Charlotte, NC) to play the Wolves in a 4A South Meck bout on Tuesday, January 7.
