In Friday's non-league test, the California City Ravens (California City, CA) basketball squad got by the visiting Palmdale Falcons (Palmdale, CA), by a score of 49-47.

Next, the Ravens encounter the Frazier Mountain Falcons (Lebec, CA) in a High Desert test, on Tuesday, January 7. California City will attempt to improve on its 8-6 season record. The Falcons come into the test with a 1-3 record after their 80-23 league loss to Rosamond (Rosamond, CA).
