South Carolina High School Basketball - Hammond victorious over Charlotte Latin
January 3, 2025: Columbia, SC 29209 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Hammond Skyhawks basketball team scored a good 61-49 triumph over the Charlotte Latin Hawks.
The Skyhawks (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against American Leadership Academy (Lexington, SC). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 3-10 record. In their last contest, American Leadership Academy was toppled by Baptist Hill (Hollywood, SC), 60-50, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks confront the Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC) in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Charlotte Latin will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 6-10 record after their 72-56 non-league loss to Durham Academy (Durham, NC).
