South Carolina High School Basketball - Hillcrest fells Wade Hampton
January 3, 2025: Greenville, SC 29609 The Hillcrest Rams basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Wade Hampton Generals to 42 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.
The Rams now have a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to T.L. Hanna for a AAAAA Region 1 game on Wednesday, January 8. Hillcrest will battle a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 65-61 league loss to Mauldin (Mauldin, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 7-5.
In their next game, the Generals battle the James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) in a AAAAA Region 2 challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Wade Hampton will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 13-0 record after their 76-55 non-league win over Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC).
