In Friday's non-league contest, the host Mt. Zion Prep Academy Blue Warriors basketball team scored a good 48-33 win over the Wilson Tigers.

The Warriors (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 13-2 record. In their last contest, Wesleyan Christian Academy defeated Oak Grove (Winston-Salem, NC), 68-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Desert Vista Thunder (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Wilson will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Thunder come into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 71-67 non-league win over Perry (Gilbert, AZ).
