South Dakota High School Basketball - St. Mary tops Estelline/Hendricks
January 4, 2024: Estelline, SD St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD), 64-51 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, St. Mary upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD) to play the Elks in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Elks come into the bout with a record of 1-4. Elkton/Lake Benton lost 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD)
Next up, the play the Great Plains Lutheran Panthers (Watertown, SD) in a A Region 2 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Estelline/Hendricks will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 57-19 non-league win over Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD).
