The Airport Eagles basketball squad (West Columbia, SC), was outscored 60-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host River Bluff Gators (Lexington, SC)

With the victory, River Bluff advances its record to 9-5 on the year. The Gators host Denmark-Olar (Denmark, SC) to meet the Vikings in a non-league battle on Monday, January 6. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 5-4. Denmark-Olar won 73-52 in their recent non-league battle against North (North, SC)

The Eagles now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Midland Valley for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 7. Airport will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Josey (Augusta, GA). The Mustangs record now stands at 10-4.
