Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting May River Sharks (Bluffton, SC), 67-46 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Benedictine upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The Cadets host Perry (Perry, GA) to face the Panthers in a AAAA Region 1 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 3-11. Perry lost 64-32 in their recent league match against New Hampstead (Savannah, GA)

The Sharks now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Colleton County for a AAAA Region 6 match on Tuesday, January 7. May River will face a Cougars squad coming off a 52-50 non-league loss to Stratford (Goose Creek, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-7.
