Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA), 70-67 in a league match.

With the victory, Saratoga upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Cupertino (Cupertino, CA) to face the Pioneers in a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino match on Wednesday, January 8. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 3-8. Cupertino won 36-15 in their recent league match against Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA)

The Mustangs now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host MacDonald for a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino match on Wednesday, January 8. Homestead will face a Condor squad coming off a 75-43 league loss to Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Condor record now stands at 7-2.
