The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Washington-Wilkes Tigers (Washington, GA) and the visiting Lincoln County Red Devils (Lincolnton, GA), observed Washington-Wilkes's basketball team overwhelm Lincoln County by a score of 61-29.

The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Towns County (Hiawassee, GA). The Indians come into the A D2 Region 8 challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Towns County trounced Hayesville (Hayesville, NC), 43-40, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Devils encounter the Warren County Screaming Devils (Warrenton, GA) in a A D2 Region 8 challenge, on Saturday, January 11. Lincoln County will attempt to improve on its 7-5 season record.
