Missouri High School Basketball - St. James overwhelms Steelville
January 5, 2023: St. James, MO 65559 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. James Tigers (St. James, MO) and the visiting Steelville Cardinals (Steelville, MO), saw St. James's basketball squad wallop Steelville by a count of 59-37.
With the victory, St. James upgrades its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Licking (Licking, MO) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 9. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Licking won 45-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Willow Springs (Willow Springs, MO)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Belle Tigers (Belle, MO) in a Gasconade Valley challenge, on Monday, January 9. Steelville will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 33-28 non-league loss to Pacific (Pacific, MO).
