Kenton Ridge Cougars (Springfield, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bellefontaine Chieftains (Bellefontaine, OH), 48-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kenton Ridge upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Cougars host North Union (Richwood, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6.
