Texas High School Basketball - Poolville overwhelms Hico
January 5, 2024: Hico, TX 76457 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Poolville Monarchs (Poolville, TX) and the host Hico Tigers (Hico, TX), saw Poolville's basketball squad wallop Hico by a tally of 57-17.
With the victory, Poolville improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Tolar (Tolar, TX) to play the Rattlers in a 2A Region II District 11 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Rattlers come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Tolar won 75-41 in their recent league challenge against De Leon (De Leon, TX)
Next up, the Tigers play the Lipan Indians (Lipan, TX) in a 2A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Hico will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 13-3 record after their 66-28 league win over Santo (Santo, TX).
