January 5, 2024: West Chester, OH 45069 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lakota West Firebirds (West Chester, OH) and the visiting Lakota East Thunderhawks (Liberty Township, OH), saw Lakota West's basketball squad overcome Lakota East by a tally of 56-46.
With the victory, Lakota West improves its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Firebirds travel to West Carrollton (West Carrollton, OH) to confront the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. West Carrollton won 59-38 in their recent league challenge against Xenia (Xenia, OH)
Next up, the Thunderhawks confront the Hamilton Big Blue (Hamilton, OH) in a Greater Miami challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Lakota East will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Big Blue come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 48-46 league win over Oak Hills (Cincinnati, OH).
