In Friday's league match, the visiting Reedy Lions basketball team scored a good 54-42 triumph over the Turner Lions.

In their next game, the Lions meet the Creekview Mustangs (Carrollton, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 match, on Tuesday, January 9. Reedy will attempt to move on its 8-13 season record. The Mustangs enter the match with a 9-9 record after their 63-52 league loss to Wakeland (Frisco, TX).
