Texas High School Basketball - Conrad ripped by Poteet
January 5, 2024: Dallas, TX 75231 The Poteet Pirates basketball team scored 52 points and held the host Conrad Chargers to 10 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.
The Pirates now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seagoville for a 5A Region II District 12 contest on Tuesday, January 9. Poteet will battle a Dragons team coming off a 43-33 league win over Spruce (Dallas, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 11-9.
The Chargers (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against West Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Wranglers enter the 5A Region II District 12 contest with a 5-17 record. In their last contest, West Mesquite triumphed over North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX), 46-40, in a league contest.
