The Wilson Tigers were victorious over the visiting Houston Mustangs basketball squad by a final score of 52-42 in Sunday's non-league outing.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Crestwood Knights (Sumter, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Wilson will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 4-8 record after their 65-48 non-league loss to Blythewood (Blythewood, SC).

The Mustangs (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Bartlett (Bartlett, TN). The Panthers enter the 4A District 15 outing with a 8-9 record. In their last outing, Bartlett was defeated by Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN), 58-53, in a non-league outing.
