January 6, 2023: Jackson, NJ 08527 Colts Neck Cougars (Colts Neck, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Liberty Lions (Jackson, NJ), 65-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Colts Neck upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Cougars host Point Pleasant Beach (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) to clash with the Garnet Gulls in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Garnet Gulls go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
Next up, the Lions clash with the Lakewood Piners (Lakewood, NJ) in a Shore C - South bout, on Friday, January 13. Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record.
