The Oakland Mills Scorpions topped the visiting Hammond Golden Bears basketball team by a final score of 66-52 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Scorpions face the Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 9. Oakland Mills will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 6-4 record after their 59-22 league win over Eastern Tech (Baltimore, MD).
