California High School Basketball - Bayfront Charter nips Canyon Crest Academy
January 6, 2023: San Diego, CA 92130 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Bayfront Charter Sharks (Chula Vista, CA) and the host Canyon Crest Academy Ravens (San Diego, CA), saw Bayfront Charter's basketball squad hold off Canyon Crest Academy by a count of 49-42.
With the victory, Bayfront Charter upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to Southwest SD (San Diego, CA) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 7. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Southwest SD lost 56-17 in their recent non-league challenge against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA)
Next up, the Ravens play the Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 9. Canyon Crest Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 39-29 non-league win over Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA).
