January 6, 2024: Pequot Lakes, MN 56472 The Pequot Lakes Patriots basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Cloquet Lumberjacks to 57 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Patriots now sport a 9-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Detroit Lakes for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 9. Pequot Lakes will battle a Lakers team coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Willmar (Willmar, MN). The Lakers record now stands at 6-5.
The Lumberjacks (8-5) will now prepare for their contest against Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Crosby-Ironton was defeated by Mountain Iron-Buhl (Mountain Iron, MN), 70-63, in a non-league contest.
