California High School Basketball - San Clemente tops Torrey Pines
January 6, 2024: San Clemente, CA 92673 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the San Clemente Tritons (San Clemente, CA) and the visiting Torrey Pines Falcons (San Diego, CA), saw San Clemente's basketball squad knock off Torrey Pines by a tally of 60-42.
With the victory, San Clemente improves its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Tritons travel to Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA) to play the Wolverines in a South Coast challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Aliso Niguel won 53-26 in their recent non-league challenge against University City (San Diego, CA)
Next up, the Falcons play the Carlsbad Lancers (Carlsbad, CA) in a Coastal challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Torrey Pines will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 11-7 record after their 48-35 non-league win over Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA).
