The Vardaman Rams basketball squad (Vardaman, MS), was crushed 53-13 in Monday's non-league battle with the host East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS)

With the victory, East Union advances its record to 14-2 on the year. The Urchins travel to New Albany (New Albany, MS) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 8. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 6-7. New Albany won 50-45 in their recent non-league battle against Ripley (Ripley, MS)
