In Monday's league test, the Pioneer Panthers (Yorkshire, NY) basketball squad trounced the visiting West Seneca East Trojans (West Seneca, NY), by a score of 66-34.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Lake Shore Eagles (Angola, NY) in a Section 6 Erie County III test, on Thursday, January 9. Pioneer will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record.

The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Iroquois (Elma, NY). The Redhawks come into the Section 6 Erie County IV test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Iroquois bounced Nardin Academy (Buffalo, NY), 68-45, in a non-league test.
