Louisiana High School Basketball - King's Fork crushes John Curtis Christian
January 7, 2023: River Ridge, LA 70123 King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host John Curtis Christian Patriots (River Ridge, LA), 82-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, King's Fork upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Lakeland (Suffolk, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a Southeastern bout on Friday, January 13. The Cavaliers go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Lakeland lost 69-39 in their recent league bout against Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA)
Next up, the Patriots clash with the St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) in a 5A District 9 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. John Curtis Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Purple Knights go into the bout with a 8-10 record after their 62-50 non-league loss to Tupelo (Tupelo, MS).
