January 7, 2023: Brandenburg, KY 40108 The Owensboro Catholic Aces (Owensboro, KY) basketball knocked off the host Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), 83-65 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Aces now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evansville Memorial for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Owensboro Catholic will battle a Tigers team coming off a 62-51 league loss to Castle (Newburgh, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.
The Green Waves (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY). The Rockets come into the non-league contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Shelby County prevailed over Carroll County (Carrollton, KY), 67-47, in a non-league contest.
