West Virginia High School Basketball - George Washington trounces Musselman
January 7, 2023: Charleston, WV 25314 The George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV) basketball crushed the visiting Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV), 55-23 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Patriots (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Princeton (Princeton, WV). The Tigers go into the Mountain State test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Princeton walloped Capital (Charleston, WV), 53-19, in a league test.
The Applemen now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a Eastern Panhandle test on Monday, January 9. Musselman will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 50-36 non-league win over Goretti (Hagerstown, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 3-4.
