South Carolina High School Basketball - East Clarendon holds off Lake City
January 7, 2023: Turbeville, SC 29162 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the East Clarendon Wolverines (Turbeville, SC) and the visiting Lake City Panthers (Lake City, SC), saw East Clarendon's basketball squad hold off Lake City by a tally of 28-23.
With the victory, East Clarendon improves its record to 6-9 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Carvers Bay (Hemingway, SC) to confront the Bears in a challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 3-2. Carvers Bay won 48-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Green Sea Floyds (Green Sea, SC)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) in a challenge, on Monday, January 16. Lake City will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record.
