The Aiken Fighting Green Hornets basketball squad (Aiken, SC), was outscored 58-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting North Augusta Yellow Jackets (North Augusta, SC)

With the victory, North Augusta advances its record to 12-0 on the year. The Yellow Jackets host South Aiken (Aiken, SC) to meet the Thoroughbreds in a AAAA Region 4 battle on Thursday, January 9. The Thoroughbreds enter the battle with a record of 5-8. South Aiken won 71-62 in their recent league battle against Gilbert (Gilbert, SC)

The Fighting Green Hornets now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookland-Cayce for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Thursday, January 9.
