The Hammond Skyhawks basketball team scored 63 points and limited the visiting American Leadership Academy Patriots to 40 in the Skyhawks non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Skyhawks now possess a 8-2 record. They play next when they travel to Curtis Baptist for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Hammond will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 53-39 league win over Mead Hall Episcopal School (Aiken, SC). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-7.
