Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Fort Dorchester Patriots (North Charleston, SC), 45-33 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Berkeley advances its record to 12-2 on the year. The Stags travel to Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to face the Bengals in a AAAAA Region 7 match on Friday, January 10. The Bengals enter the match with a record of 6-5. Lucy Beckham lost 49-35 in their recent non-league match against James Island (Charleston, SC)

The Patriots now own a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashley Ridge for a AAAAA Region 8 match on Friday, January 10. Fort Dorchester will face a Swamp Foxes squad coming off a 83-39 non-league win over Beaufort (Beaufort, SC). The Swamp Foxes record now stands at 11-3.
