January 7, 2025: Winston, OR 97496 The Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR) basketball edged the visiting Sisters Outlaws (Sisters, OR), 56-53 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cascade Christian for a 3A Southern Oregon bout on Thursday, January 9. Douglas will play a Challengers team coming off a 66-62 non-league win over East Linn Christian Academy (Lebanon, OR). The Challengers record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Sisters falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Outlaws host Burns (Burns, OR) to play the Hilanders in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 11. The Hilanders go into the bout with a record of 8-2. Burns lost 66-61 in their recent non-league bout against Grant Union (John Day, OR)
