The Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE) basketball edged the visiting Lincoln High Links (Lincoln, NE), 71-66 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Silver Hawks now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Lincoln Southeast for a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. Lincoln Southwest will play a Knights team coming off a 83-76 non-league loss to Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE). The Knights record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Lincoln High falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Links host Kearney (Kearney, NE) to play the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Kearney won 81-38 in their recent non-league bout against North Platte (North Platte, NE)
