In Tuesday's non-league test, the Portola Tigers (Portola, CA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Oroville Tigers (Oroville, CA), by a final score of 87-49.

Next, the Tigers clash with the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 9. Portola will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 63-22 league win over Anderson (Anderson, CA).
