Texas High School Basketball - Wilson nips Poteet
January 7, 2025: Dallas, TX 75214 In Tuesday's league contest, the host Wilson Wildcats basketball team scored a close 52-49 triumph over the Poteet Pirates.
The Wildcats (13-11) will now prepare for their contest against Seagoville (Dallas, TX). The Dragons go into the 5A Region II District 14 contest with a 13-11 record. In their last contest, Seagoville nipped Spruce (Dallas, TX), 75-25, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Pirates battle the Adams Cougars (Dallas, TX) in a 5A Region II District 14 contest, on Friday, January 10. Poteet will attempt to better on its 9-12 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 5-15 record after their 49-40 league win over Samuell (Dallas, TX).
