Wagener-Salley War Eagles (Wagener, SC) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC), 41-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Wagener-Salley advances its record to 2-7 on the year. The War Eagles travel to Horse Creek Academy (Aiken, SC) to face the Stallions in a A Region 3 match on Friday, January 10. The Stallions enter the match with a record of 2-6. Horse Creek Academy lost 72-60 in their recent league match against Williston-Elko (Williston, SC)
