January 7, 2025: Willow Park, TX 76008 Trinity Christian Eagles (Willow Park, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Shelton Chargers (Dallas, TX), 62-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Trinity Christian upgrades its record to 19-2 on the year. The Eagles travel to North Central Texas Academy (Granbury, TX) to face the Pioneers in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 22-5. North Central Texas Academy won 78-49 in their recent non-league match against All Saints (Fort Worth, TX)
The Chargers now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host All Saints Episcopal for a TAPPS 4A District 3 match on Friday, January 10. Shelton will face a Trojans squad coming off a 64-46 league loss to Bishop Gorman (Tyler, TX). The Trojans record now stands at 7-6.
