The Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons (Punta Gorda, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Sarasota Sailors (Sarasota, FL), 58-34 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Fightin' Tarpons now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Gateway for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 9. Charlotte will play a Eagles team coming off a 55-49 non-league win over Bishop Verot (Fort Myers, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Sarasota falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Sailors travel to Venice (Venice, FL) to play the Indians in a 7A District 12 bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 9-5.
