The Greenforest Eagles defeated the visiting Lamar County Trojans basketball squad by a final score of 59-51 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Jasper County Hurricanes (Monticello, GA) in a A D1 Region 4 outing, on Friday, January 10. Greenforest will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Hurricanes come into the outing with a 6-8 record after their 50-41 league loss to Southwest Atlanta Christian (Atlanta, GA).
