The South Aiken Thoroughbreds tipped the host Fairfield Central Griffins basketball team by a final score of 52-45 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Thoroughbreds face the Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AAAA Region 4 game, on Friday, January 12. South Aiken will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 7-10 record after their 68-50 league loss to Aiken (Aiken, SC).
