California High School Basketball - Laguna Beach knocked off by Capistrano Valley Christian
January 8, 2024: Laguna Beach, CA 92651 The Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Laguna Beach Breakers to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Monday.
The Eagles now sport a 10-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Orangewood Academy for a San Joaquin contest on Thursday, January 11. Capistrano Valley Christian will battle a Spartans team coming off a 64-42 non-league loss to Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, NV). The Spartans record now stands at 11-5.
The Breakers (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA). The Oilers enter the Wave contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Huntington Beach was defeated by Edison (Huntington Beach, CA), 57-35, in a non-league contest.
