The Belton-Honea Path Bears basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Palmetto Mustangs to 49 in the Bears non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bears now have a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to West-Oak for a AAA Region 1 game on Friday, January 10. Belton-Honea Path will confront a Warriors team coming off a 77-17 non-league loss to Daniel (Central, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Palmetto falls to 5-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Carolina Academy (Greenville, SC) to confront the Trojans in a AAA Region 2 game on Friday, January 10.
