Pasco Pirates (Dade City, FL) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 46-34 in a league match.

With the victory, Pasco upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Pirates travel to Pinellas Park (Largo, FL) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 6-1. Pinellas Park won 67-43 in their recent non-league match against Dunedin (Dunedin, FL)

The Royal Knights now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mitchell for a non-league match on Friday, January 10. River Ridge will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 80-36 non-league win over Anclote (Holiday, FL). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-5.
