January 9, 2024: Temple, TX 76502 The Belton Tigers (Belton, TX) basketball crushed the host Lake Belton Broncos (Temple, TX), 91-67 in Tuesday's league test.
The Tigers (21-3) will now prepare for their test against Killeen (Killeen, TX). The Kangaroos go into the 5A Region III District 22 test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Killeen was trounced by Ellison (Killeen, TX), 73-51, in a league test.
The Broncos now own a 9-15 record. They play next when they travel to Chaparral for a 5A Region III District 22 test on Friday, January 12. Lake Belton will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 61-35 league loss to Waco (Waco, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 13-14.
